The winter snowstorm hitting the northeast is taking its toll on roads and businesses, even TV show tapings — Trevor Noah and The Daily Show included. The nightly news satire is taking a snow day because of it, and Noah and crew decided to have a little fun with the news about Tuesday’s show cancellation by posting an adorably retro video, which you can see below, on the program’s Twitter feed.

The video — which ponders, “Did anyone tell Trevor?” — depicts the late-night host barreling down a snow-packed sidewalk trying desperately to get to the studio. Accompanying him is a parlor-style piano track, along with 1920s silent film-style title cards. After falling face first into the powder, Trevor draws his head back in mock agony to the heavens, while the title card reads, “The Daily Show will return Wednesday, assuming Trevor makes it safely back inside.”

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
