In Crackle’s new comedy-thriller show Snatch, Rupert Grint plays Charlie Cavendish-Scott, a dissolute, but lovable, member of a financially-reduced family of British aristocrats. So, did the Harry Potter star base his portrayal on anyone in particular?

“Not really,” says Grint. “I’ve never really come across anyone like that. I was kind of finding it as I went.”

However, the actor did watch footage of one particular British aristocrat. “Prince Harry was someone I studied a bit, just to get that proud Englishness,” he says. “I watched a lot of videos [of him]. I didn’t really take a lot from it, to be honest. It turned into something else. But he was my first port of call.”

Snatch premieres on Crackle on March 16. You can see the show’s trailer, below.
