The 100 sneak peek: Clarke prepares for dangerous journey
When all hope for humanity’s future rests on driving a bunch of combustible barrels over rough terrain, you better believe The 100 crew is up for the task. And that’s exactly what we’ll see them do in Wednesday’s new episode.
“We Will Rise” shows Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) preparing to take the hydrazine barrels to Raven and Abby on the island. As seen in the exclusive clip above, Chancellor Kane wants to tag along as well. Clarke gives him one of her characteristically Clarke speeches and tells him their people need him to stay behind. He reluctantly does.
EW spoke with Taylor about what we can expect from this mission: “I can definitely say that they’ll be going through some hostile territory,” she says. “It’s not going to be a fun ride.”

But being fun has never been Clarke’s motivation (unlike Jasper). Once she finds out her mom is getting sick, “it gives her even more ammunition and determination to get to the island,” Taylor says. “[Clarke] pushes on; she pushes through it.”
And as for what Kane will be doing back at Arkadia, Taylor teases that the “mood is tense … definitely a lot more tense than it has been so far.”
