From 'Pulp Fiction' to 'Kong: Skull Island,' Jackson's been in a lot of movies.
Samuel L. Jackson has been in a lot of movies, from his work with Quentin Tarantino to his place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to his latest, Kong: Skull Island. James Corden walked (and sometimes ran) through his entire career in the Late Late Show‘s latest edition of Role Call on Wednesday night.
Jackson followed Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Tom Cruise, and Arnold Schwarzenegger in reenacting scenes from his Hollywood career with Corden. Unlike his predecessors, who were able to do so in six or eight minutes, Jackson needed 11 — because, again, he’s been in a lot of movies.
However, Kong: Skull Island isn’t out in theaters until this weekend. So all Corden, dressed as the gargantuan gorilla, could say was, “I tell you what, this movie looks incredible, Sam, it really does. I can’t wait to see it. Kong: Skull Island comes out in theaters everywhere this Friday, March 10.”
But we do get to see Jackson screaming, “I have had it with these motherf—ing snakes on this motherf—ing plane.” Elsewhere, all his Marvel movie appearances (including the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War) were condensed into one bit where he just shouts, “Avengers, assemble! My work here’s done.”
