Jimmy Kimmel gets a stern lesson about 'A Day Without a Woman'
Siri wasn't having it.
Jimmy Kimmel’s search for answers regarding International Women’s Day led to him getting a stern response from the world’s most technological woman — Siri.
On Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host was discussing the protest, ‘A Day Without a Woman,’ where women were encouraged to take off of work, wear red in solidarity, and refrain from shopping.
“I’ll tell you something, I have experience in this area,” shared Kimmel. “I went years without a woman. It was terrible, it was no fun at all. I don’t recommend it.”
Saying “of course a day without them is going to be mess” given women make up more than half the world’s population, the comedian shared his confusion about the meaning of the movement. To clear up the issue, Kimmel went where most people go for answers.
Upon asking Siri for help, he got no response, so he asked a second time, to which Siri replied, “I’m sorry, I don’t work for you today. Go f— yourself.”
Lesson learned. “Okay, now I understand,” Kimmel laughed. “I might need some help finding my way home tonight.”
