The third season of Fargo hasn’t even premiered yet, but the show is already dishing out a few surprises.

In a preview shared via Twitter on Monday, Fargo gives fans the first glimpse of Ewan McGregor in the series. Thanks to the power of makeup, McGregor has transformed into Ray Stussy, a balding parole officer who teams up with Mary Elizabeth Winstead‘s (Braindead) recent parolee Nikki Swango. The duo is seen finishing up their meal and leaving a diner after noticing a police officer.

As EW reported last May, McGregor will also play Emmit, a handsome real estate mogul who also happens to be Ray’s brother, and the person he blames for the way his life has turned out.

The upcoming season will be set a few years after season 1, and will also star Carrie Coon (The Leftovers) as Gloria Burgle, the recently divorced chief of the Eden Valley Police.

Fargo returns on April 19 on FX. Watch the new promo above.
