Carrie Bradshaw memes have been floating around the internet for some time, but Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ latest scandal provided a Sex and the City link that even Sarah Jessica Parker herself couldn’t pass up.

Parker posted a meme of Carrie sitting at her desk, as she typically does, ruminating about her life over her trusty laptop. The made-up quote reads, “I couldn’t help but wonder…had the Russian ambassador been meeting with everybody except me?”

Parker posted the image on Instagram, and accompanied it with the caption, “I had to. Don’t know the provenance however whoever you are, thank you. X, sj.”

Sessions has come under fire for not disclosing during his Senate confirmation hearing that he had two meetings with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, prior to the 2016 election.

Of course, Carrie herself came under fire for lying with a Russian (albeit, in bed) in the show’s sixth season, though in her case, he was an artist named Aleksandr Petrovsky, not an ambassador.

More Carrie memes might be in the future, as Parker has suggested she’s open to future SATC projects with her costars. In February, the Divorce actress reunited with Cynthia Nixon, who played attorney Miranda Hobbes, at the Off-Broadway production of Evening at the Talk House.
