Jimmy Fallon probably wouldn't beat Jennifer Lopez in your standard dance battle, but their face-off on The Tonight Show Wednesday had a twist: each had to take turns creating a new dance move based on a random phrase.

"You put me in these things, and you know how competitive I am," Lopez exclaimed in the beginning. "So I start acting crazy."

Fallon kicked things off by improvising a dance to "Putting on Skinny Jeans," followed by "Walking on a Moving Bus." The "Dance Again" and "On the Floor" singer brought some booty-shaking to "Washing Machine on Spin Cycle" (essentially Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" with a hula hoop feel) and "Hot Cowboy" (a lot like the former).

"F—," Lopez told Fallon, laughing about her last solo pick. "I hate you."

For the final round, they teamed up for a "dance duet" to the phrase "Seeing Yourself on the Jumbotron," which devolved into frantic dabbing.

Watch the dance off in the clip above.
