USA has axed Eyewitness after one season.

EW has confirmed that the network will not be ordering another installment of the drama, which wrapped it’s 10-episode freshman season back in December.

Based on the Norwegian series Øyevitne and adapted by Shades of Blue creatorAdi Hasak, Eyewitness followed two teenage boys, who, while having a secret rendezvous in the woods, witness a murder and are forced to deal with the results of the incident.

The series starred Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal), and James Paxton, the son of Bill Paxton, who recently died at the age of 61.

Deadline first reported the news.
