Fallon and The Roots accompanied Sheeran on his hit song.

Jimmy Fallon and The Roots opened the Tonight Show Music Room again, this time for Ed Sheeran.

The British singer performed his hit “Shape of You” on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show, while accompanied by a band of classroom instruments, including plastic xylophones, melodica, ukulele, and apple- and banana-shaped shakers. Sheeran killed the performance as Questlove rocked the guiro and kazoo. Fallon, meanwhile, was busy with back-up vocals, bass drum, keyboard, blocks, and more.

Adele, Metallica, Carly Rae Jepsen, One Direction, and Idina Menzel are some of the musicians who’ve performed with classroom instruments on the show in the past.
