Kris Jenner is opening up about daughter Kim Kardashian West's frightening robbery incident in Paris last fall.

"It was devastating," said the Kardashian matriarch when she dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday to tease the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which will include an intense episode focused on the Paris incident.

In the second episode of the season, Kardashian West gives her sisters a moment-by-moment account of what happened when masked men with guns entered her hotel room and stole millions of dollars worth in jewelry during Paris Fashion Week last October, explains Jenner.

"Now we just started seeing some of the stuff that had come out of those days and it's…Nobody can even get through the first five minutes without being hysterical. I get choked up just thinking about it and talking about it," said Jenner. "I was watching it and I was balling when I saw it. I just saw some of it, and I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I mean, it was so upsetting. It was such an upsetting time when something so awful happened to somebody that you love so much."

Jenner says Kardashian West found the experience of opening up to her family very therapeutic and decided to go through with it because she wanted to raise awareness. "It's changed the way we live our lives and just the way that we take care of our kids and my grandchildren," said Jenner, who also teased that her daughter's husband, Kanye West, is a "big part" of the episode.
