Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon reunite
Naturally, they got carried away in conversation
Strap on those Manolo Blahniks and pour yourself a Cosmo — it’s time for a (mini) Sex and the City reunion.
On Thursday night, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon linked up in New York City. The actresses, who played Carrie Bradshaw and Miranda Hobbes on the HBO hit, saw each other at the premiere of the new play Evening at the Talk House. The Off-Broadway production stars Parker’s husband of nearly 20 years, Matthew Broderick.
Like their onscreen counterparts, Parker and Nixon made fashion statements in striking ensembles and bold patterns. And they got carried away like old times, too: The ladies appeared engrossed in conversation as a photographer snapped pictures.
Parker and Nixon last grabbed headlines together with their mini-reunion at the Divorce premiere in October. As for whether they’ll reunite onscreen as their SATC characters again, Parker told the Press Association in September that there’s “an open question and discussion that will continue until it’s been resolved.”
For now, check out the new reunion photos below.
