The Good Fight: Christine Baranski's return highlights the strong spin-off
'I will follow her anywhere,' says Bingeworthy host Jessica Shaw.
Fans of The Good Wife are about to get a good spin-off.
On the latest episode of Bingeworthy, hosts Jessica Shaw and Touré discussed The Good Fight, creators Robert and Michelle King’s new iteration of their hit CBS series, which wrapped last spring.
While they both acknowledged they miss Julianna Margulies, the hosts enjoyed Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie as the newly introduced Maia Rindell and the continued presence of Emmy winner Christine Baranski, returning as Diane Lockhart.
“I will follow her anywhere,” Shaw said of Baranski’s veteran lawyer. “One of my favorite characters ever on television.”
Shaw added, “There’s also a through line that is so strong and such great acting. And no one does it better than Robert and Michelle King.”
The full episode of Bingeworthy is available now on the new People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN). Go to PEOPLE.com/PEN, or download the PEN app on Apple TV, Roku Players, Amazon Fire TV, Xumo, Chromecast, iOS and Android devices.
The Good Fight premieres Sunday on CBS before moving to CBS All Access.
