Carpool Karaoke: The Series is already paying for itself, if only for giving us a glimpse at Metallica singing Rihanna's "Diamonds" in the new trailer.

After releasing a promo during Grammys night, Apple Music's new series on Tuesday launched an extended look, featuring John Legend, Alicia Keys, Taraji P. Henson, Chelsea Handler, Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Seth Meyers, Michael Strahan, Shaquille O'Neal, and Jeff Gordon.

Also among the star-studded guest roster is comedian Billy Eichner, who joins James Hetfield and his fellow Metallica bandmates on the Rihanna hit before invading a grocery store. "‘Shine bright like a diamond.' It's not that hard," Eichner jokes.

Other highlights include Handler and Meyers drinking in a bar to the tune of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer," and Smith singing R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" with James Corden in a helicopter.

The show, based on Corden's recurring segment on The Late Late Show, will feature 16 celebrity pairings as they ride along and sing songs from their personal playlists.
