Before Westworld hooked viewers by bringing robots into consciousness, Humans was doing it with far less sex and confusion. For season 2, the British drama expands its world, cast, and cognizant "synth" (robot) population. Carrie-Anne Moss is among the new faces, playing a scientist racing to discover what caused the synths to suddenly become self-aware.
