Stephen Colbert has some advice for the men of the Trump administration: don’t mess with Melissa McCarthy.

In a preview of Friday’s Late Show, Colbert responded to recent reports that the president thought McCarthy’s blistering Saturday Night Live portrayal of White House press secretary Sean Spicer made him “look weak.”

“First of all,” Colbert said, “I’ve met Melissa McCarthy, and she could kick the ass of every man in that administration.”

He then upped the ante with another female impersonator, this time for Trump himself.

“If the president thinks a woman portraying Sean Spicer makes him look weak, then he’s really not going to like this picture we made of a little girl playing Donald Trump,” Colbert said. “And he’s especially not going to like it when you retweet it at him with the hashtag #largerhands.”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. Watch the clip above.
