If you’re currently obsessed with The Young Pope, you’re not the only one. Bingeworthy’s Touré is also a big fan of the HBO series.

“I love this world, the intrigue, this character,” says the host of the show on PEN. “[It’s] very perfect for the Trump Era. Coming in, wrecking shop, doesn’t care what the establishment thinks.”

But it’s not just Jude Law’s “weird” and “badass” character that Touré appreciates. He’s just as fascinated by the inner workings of the Vatican as the other characters attempt to work with Law’s young pope. “I could not get enough of this show… I watched everything HBO gave me. And I would watch 10 more if they made that.”

Co-host Jessica Shaw had high praise for the series’ visuals — “It’s breathtakingly beautiful… Every shot is perfectly framed” — but she has some reservations about the show’s eventual gameplan. “I just worry a little bit that this is going to become every week, ‘How is this young pope going to blow things up this week?’”
