In Bates Motel, A&E’s Psycho prequel, fans spent four seasons watching Norman’s slow descent into madness. What began as a few blackouts evolved into the moment fans had been waiting for: Norman killed his mother at the end of the show’s fourth season. But considering that series’ executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin always planned a five-season arc for the show, what can fans expect from season 5?

A&E released a sneak peek at the show’s upcoming fifth and final season, and aside from giving us a glimpse at what Norman’s home looks like without Norma, we get to find out exactly what Norman has done with his mother’s body in this particular telling of the famous mother-son story. And let’s just say it’s sure to bring you nightmares.

Bates Motel returns February 20 at 10 p.m. ET on A&E.
