Breaking Bad turned 10 years old this year, and in celebration of the decorated AMC drama’s decade of existence, EW reunited the cast on the cover of the current issue. But if all of this serves as a painful reminder to you that Breaking Bad, the one true prestige drama of your heart, is long gone, then worry not! Here are 10 things for you to check out if you still need to fill the Walter White-sized hole in your life — and here is all of our reunion coverage, to help you reminisce about the bad old days.
Better Call Saul
If you miss the world of Breaking Bad… Then just go right back to it! AMC’s prequel spin-off series, the fourth season of which will premiere next month, follows Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman in the years leading up to the events of the original series.
If you miss Aaron Paul… He’s streaming, bitch! Hulu drama The Path, in which Paul plays a member of a cult who has a crisis of faith, concluded its third and final season earlier this year, but you can binge the whole series now.
If you miss the complicated father-son dynamics (made even more complicated by meth)… Check out David Sheff’s best-selling 2008 memoir Beautiful Boy, about his son Nic’s struggles with methamphetamine addiction, and the journey that faced their entire family as a result. A film based on both Beautiful Boy and Nic’s own memoir, Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines, is headed for theaters this fall, starring Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet.
If you miss the dark humor… FX has got you covered with the anthology crime series Fargo, which aired its third season last year (the first two are available to stream on Hulu).
If you miss the occasional gore… There’s some more of it in theaters right now! Hotel Artemis, about a hotel for criminals in dystopian future Los Angeles, is here to serve you some summertime onscreen violence.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
If you miss the New Mexico setting… Throw it way back with one of the most iconic spaghetti Westerns of all time, the final installment of Sergio Leone’s Dollars trilogy.
If you miss the drug cartel drama… You’ll love The Infiltrator, Robert Mazur’s memoir of his work as a federal agent going undercover as a money launderer to bring down Pablo Escobar’s empire. And if you decide to follow up your reading by catching the film adaptation of the book, even better: Mazur is played by none other than Bryan Cranston.
The Good Fight
If you miss badass lady Skyler… Tune into The Good Fight to see Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) demonstrate breathtaking competence and lawyerly toughness on a weekly basis.
Sicario: Day of the Soldado
If you miss the drug lord showdowns… Stefano Sollima’s sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s 2015 Oscar nominee, starring Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin, is in theaters now.
