Disney fans eager for more footage from the upcoming live-action Mulan adaptation will have to wait a few days longer until the new trailer debuts on Super Bowl Sunday, but in the meantime, there is a new teaser to get your expectations up. Though clocking in at only 30 seconds, the new teaser is chock-full of action, which seems to indicate the full trailer will be quite epic.

Mulan stars Yifei Liu in the title role as a Chinese girl who disguises herself as a boy to fulfill her family’s obligation to the Emperor’s military draft so her aging father doesn’t have to go and meet an inevitable death. Unlike other live-action Disney adaptations though, Mulan is not a direct remake of the beloved 1998 animated original. There will be no singing, and certainly no Mushu. Instead, the movie hearkens back to the original Chinese folktale “The Ballad of Mulan.”

Watch the teaser above, and stay tuned for the full thing on Sunday.
