If you thought John Wick, Atomic Blonde, and Deadpool 2 were crazy, get a load of the new Hobbs & Shaw trailer.

David Leitch, the stuntman-turned-director at the helm of those aforementioned films, delivers wild and crazy stunts in the new preview for his Fast & Furious spin-off.

With Dwayne Johnson‘s hulk lawman Hobbs and Jason Statham‘s trim lawless Shaw becoming the new action odd couple, Leitch puts them through the ringer against “black Superman.” That’s what Idris Elba, as the cybernetically enhanced soldier Brixton, likes to call himself.

There are dueling confined hallway fights (Hobbs’ might be easier than Shaw’s), massive explosions, the impending doom of a biological weapon, and, because it’s a Fast & Furious movie, lots of fast cars.

Vin Diesel, the star of the main Fast & Furious saga, likes to say these movies are about family. In the Hobbs & Shaw trailer, family is crucial. Shaw’s sister (Vanessa Kirby) stole said biological weapon from Brixton and now they’re in a massive war. So Hobbs turns to his family for some “cars and guns.” But Hobbs’ mom may have tossed all their guns, so now they have to go “old school.”

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw will open in theaters Aug. 2, and we’ll know just how fast and furious things will get.
