Are we in the middle of a full-fledged Culkinaissance? Kieran Culkin recently killed it on the first season of Succession as a degenerate media executive, while brother Macaulay has recently, and impishly, returned to the public spotlight with his faux lifestyle brand Bunny Ears. Now the pair’s younger sibling Rory Culkin (Castle Rock) is garnering positive reviews as the real-life musician Euronymous in Lords of Chaos.

Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, Lords of Chaos details the bizarre and tragic tale of the Norwegian black-metal scene of the early ’90s, and you can get a taste of the movie’s harrowing nature in a just-released trailer.

Lords of Chaos costars Emory Cohen, Sky Ferreira, Jack Kilmer, and Valter Skarsgård. The film hits theaters Feb. 8 and will be released on VOD on Feb. 22. Watch the new trailer above.

WARNING: Lords of Chaos features a portrayal of death by suicide.
