Last year, the toast of Broadway was an overconfident revolutionary. This year, it’s perhaps the complete opposite.

Dear Evan Hansen, Broadway’s de facto hottest new ticket, follows a cripplingly shy outsider (Ben Platt) whose method of survival is blending in with the rest of his high school set. When a chance encounter with a troubled student propels Evan into the spotlight at school, he faces a moral dilemma as he becomes the reluctant mouthpiece for a movement of self-assurance he never thought he’d lead.

EW has an exclusive first listen to one of the breakout songs from the musical, “You Will Be Found,” the act one finale that finds Evan going viral while delivering a key speech of confidence and community to his schoolmates. It’s an anthem of hope and idealism, and one that has already mirrored its mission in the show in the real world (check #YouWillBeFound on Twitter for proof).

Listen to the track here, fresh off the cast recording (available digitally on Feb. 3 and in stores Feb. 24). It’s a cast-wide number to boot, featuring the entire principal cast: Platt, Laura Dreyfuss, Mike Faist, Rachel Bay Jones, Kristolyn Lloyd, Michael Park, Will Roland, and Jennifer Laura Thompson.

Dear Evan Hansen is directed by Michael Greif (Rent, If/Then) and features music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story) as well as a book by Steven Levenson (The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin).
