The secret life of pets doesn't just include eating everyone's food and watching soap operas all day. According to a new show, they also host their own podcasts.

This Podcast Has Fleas, WNYC Studio‘s first-ever series for kids, stars Jay Pharoah as Jones, an auto-tune loving, trash-talking cat and up-and-coming actress Emily Lynne as his rival, Waffles the dog. The problem is both animals live under the same roof but have dueling podcasts.

A teaser for the scripted comedy series, posted below, offers a snippet of the silly yet amusing storyline to come. In it, Waffles walks in to find Jones recording his own podcast – live from the litter box! – and learns that it features elaborate sound effects and even an upbeat original song. <iframe frameborder="0" height="130" width="100%" src="http://www.wnyc.org/widgets/ondemand_player/fleas/#file=/audio/json/815312" class="" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen="" resize="0" replace_attributes="1" name=""></iframe>åÿ7ßÝ^ß}¶nÕÎ7u·ömöµíî={ÝøóÖ»

The podcast will also showcase other famous voices as household pets, including Eugene Mirman as Benny the gerbil and Alec Baldwin as sage goldfish Mr. Glub. Below, hear a clip of Baldwin expressing the aquatic pet's pet peeves, like smudges on the fish tank and the upkeep of his tiny decorative castle. <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" height="54" width="80%" src="https://www.wnyc.org/widgets/ondemand_player/fleas/#file=https://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3/audio.wnyc.org/glub/glub112817_ew.mp3&amp;share=0" class="" allowfullscreen="" resize="0" replace_attributes="1" name=""></iframe>

The six-episode series is guaranteed to deliver some laughs as children's television veterans Adam Peltzman (Odd Squad) and Koyalee Chanda (Blue's Clues) are behind the project. Below, watch a fun clip of Pharoah and Lynne recording a session in the studio. This Podcast Has Fleas debuts Dec. 4.
