The stars wore white: Bridal vibes on the Oscars red carpet
1 of 7
Spring may not officially start for a few more weeks, but stars were ushering the season in early on the Oscars red carpet. Margot Robbie (in Chanel), Mary J. Blige (in Atelier Versace) and Laura Dern (in Calvin Klein) — not to mention Timothee Chalamet in head-to-toe Berluti — were among the stars resplendent in white, a visual pivot from the Golden Globes blackout.
But that doesn't mean they weren't making a larger statement: Celebs carried white roses on the Grammys and Brit Awards red carpets in a show of support for the Time's Up movement. Whether it was intentional statement or just a fresh look, the colorless shade was one of the hottest trends on the carpet.
