Laura Dern, who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, shouted out her mother, Diane Ladd, and father, Bruce Dern, during her acceptance speech.

"Some say never meet your heroes, but I say if you're really blessed, you get them as your parents," she said on the Academy Awards stage.
