Crazy glam Oscars
The stars brought their fashion A-game to this year’s Oscars red carpet, but none more than the shining cast of Crazy Rich Asians — all of whom echoed their onscreen characters in their Oscar style. To kick things off, the film’s imperious matriarch, Michelle Yeoh, gleamed in a regal off-the-shoulder, full-skirted gown by Elie Saab.
The Crazy Rich star gave off major Belle vibes in this sunny and joyous tulle dress by Versace, topped with a sleek, no-nonsense ponytail.
Gemma Chan was among the many celebs who wore pink on the carpet, in an artful, tiered hot-pink gown — with pockets! — from Valentino Haute Couture. The high neck and loose silhouette resembled the pale pink gown her character wore in her first appearance in the film.
Leading man Henry Golding looked like a true Prince Charming (and so, so expensive) in an elegant black velvet tux by Ralph Lauren.
Crazy Rich Asians’ quirky best friend Awkwafina brought a hip, funky perspective in a metallic pink suit by DSquared2.
