The cast of Crazy Rich Asians already owned the Academy Awards’ red carpet, but backstage at the show they’re still gleaming like emeralds in a sea of rhinestones.

The stars of 2018’s groundbreaking, crowd-pleasing, box office-smashing romantic comedy were the most sought-after people at the bar during Hollywood’s biggest night. When Henry Golding and Gemma Chan walked in to get drinks, a gaggle of women surrounded Chan, fawning over her show-stopping, hot pink Valentino gown. Golding briefly disappeared to collect an armful of cookies (“I’m hungry,” he told EW) and then the pair hung out and posed for photos before heading back inside.

The cast’s status as the crazy, coolest crew at the Oscars was solidified when leading lady Constance Wu popped in soon after, only to be immediately grabbed for conversation. Move over, Timothée Chalamet. The Oscars have a whole new clique of popular kids.
