Oscar nominations are in! As of Tuesday morning, film fans across the country know which movies are going to be competing next month for the industry’s most prestigious honor: The Academy Award for Best Picture.

Under current Academy rules, anywhere between five and ten movies can be nominated for Best Picture. This year, the Academy chose to nominate eight films — one less than last year. But this year’s crop of candidates is also making history. Roma‘s nomination makes the first time a Netflix original film has been nominated for the big award, while Black Panther earned the first-ever Best Picture nod for a comic-book movie. The Favourite, which topped both EW film critics’ top-10 lists of 2018, also earned a nomination.

Watch the trailers below, and stay tuned to EW.com for more Oscar nominations coverage.
