Carrie Fisher Through The Years
Born in Beverly Hills, Calif. on October 21, 1956, Carrie Fisher died Tuesday at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles a few days earlier. The daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, she got an early introduction to Hollywood and picked up minor roles in her teens before skyrocketing to fame as Princess Leia in 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Fisher continued the iconic role in subsequent Star Wars movies and specials, also adding to her résumé with small-screen projects and books. Decades later, she continued her family's Hollywood dynasty when her daughter, Billie Lourd, joined the family business. See photos of the late star through the years, ahead.
