Mariah Carey has declared the start of the holiday season as only the Queen of Christmas can do.

With Halloween costumes still warm, Carey celebrated the upcoming festivities with an Instagram video in a snow-filled room decorated with Christmas trees and holiday cheer.

"It's time!" she exclaims while dressed in a themed onesie pajama. A message at the end requests, "But let's get through Thanksgiving first."

Jennifer Hudson is just as excited to get the party started, too. She replied to Carey's video with plans of her own.

"No need, let's go!" she said in the comments. "My Christmas music starts today!"

Carey released her first holiday album Merry Christmas in 1994 featuring the smash single "All I Want For Christmas Is You," both of which top the charts yearly during the season.

In 2019, the Guinness Book of World Records celebrated a major milestone for the single, it became the highest-charting holiday (Christmas/New Year) song on the Billboard US Hot 100 by a solo artist. That same year, the track also earned Carey the title of first artist to hit No. 1 in four separate decades.

A follow-up titled Merry Christmas II You was released in 2010.
