Looks like Lil Nas X took Michael J. Fox’s advice and didn’t travel to 2020.

After teasing it earlier this week in a commercial that played during a football game, the rapper released the full music video for his new single “Holiday,” and it takes place on Christmas Eve of the year 2220.

In the futuristic clip, Lil Nas X plays four characters: a grey-haired Santa, a militarized nutcracker, a workshop elf with straight backs, and a mohawked Hot Wheels driver.

While the visual, directed by Nas and Gibson Hazard, has a Christmas theme, the song itself is much more referential to the “Old Town Road” performer’s career.

Lyrics like “I pulled a gimmick, I admit it, I have no remorse,” once again show Nas is willing to laugh at himself. Meanwhile, lines like “popstar, but the rappers still respect me” show he remains confident in his work, even if his ubiquitous country-trap hit set an impossible precedent.
