Legendary singer Fats Domino died on Oct. 24 at the age of 89. Born in New Orleans in 1928, Domino (whose given name is Antoine Domino Jr.) was the youngest of eight children and grew up in the city's Lower Ninth Ward. He came of age in the post-war period and became a seminal force in the development and popularization of rock and roll. Ahead, his life in pictures.
