Greg Page, the former lead singer of the children’s band the Wiggles, collapsed on stage while performing with the group at a relief concert for the devastating Australian bushfires on Friday.

According to the group’s Twitter account, the medical incident occurred off stage toward the end of their performance and Page was taken immediately to the hospital. The group later tweeted, “As has been reported, our friend Greg Page suffered a cardiac arrest at the end of the bushfire relief performance and was taken to hospital. He has had a procedure and is now recovering in hospital. We appreciate your kind messages and concern.”

The charity event was the first time in several years that the original Wiggles performed together. The popular group has changed members numerous times since its inception in Australia in 1991. The original lineup featured Page, Anthony Field, Phillip Wilcher, Murray Cook, and Jeff Fatt.

Page stepped away from the group in 2006 due to health problems. He was diagnosed with orthostatic intolerance, which prevents him from being able to stand for long periods of time and makes him prone to fainting spells. He briefly rejoined the group in 2012, before retiring again.
