From South Korea to music’s biggest night!

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, made their Grammys debut on Sunday when members J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Suga, and V walked the red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The seven-piece K-pop sensation were on hand to present at the awards show and their album Love Yourself: Tear was also nominated for best recording package.

Though BTS lost to St. Vincent, Love Yourself: Tear marked the first Korean album to be recognized in any category by the Recording Academy. They’re also the first-ever Korean group to present an award during the ceremony.

“It’s more than a dream,” RM told PEOPLE on the red carpet ahead of the show. “We can’t believe it.”

The band was excited to see H.E.R., Lady Gaga, and Travis Scott take the stage on Sunday night and were caught on camera jamming along to “Jolene” during the Dolly Parton tribute performance that featured Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves and Parton herself.

BTS are currently working on their first English language album with producer Steve Aoki, and RM said the group “enjoyed” the challenge. “It was a new experience for us,” he said. “Steve Aoki gave us great beats and melody.”

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards are broadcasting live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on CBS.
