Xtina is coming to Sin City.
With reports of a Las Vegas residency for Christina Aguilera already in the air, the pop singer, 38, confirmed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday morning that she’s officially bringing “Christina Aguilera: The Xperience” to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
“How much easier for everyone to just come to one place and fill the venue with fantasy and love and excitement, and put on a show that I’ve actually been accumulating for years, these amazing ideas, and taking people on this amazing ride and trip and using the imagination,” Aguilera told Ellen DeGeneres.
A sparkling pink image of the “Beautiful” singer’s face encrusted with diamonds promotes the residency, which kicks off May 31. In a tweet, Aguilera described it further as “a multisensory escape to a world of magic & total freedom.”
“The Xperience” will feature 16 dates from May 31-June 16 and September 20–October 5.
Aguilera released her latest album Liberation in 2018 and recently finished her first tour in 10 years, but the title “The Xperience” is a nod back to her Xtina days when she released Stripped in 2002 with “Dirrty,” “Underappreciated,” and “Can’t Hold Us Down.” The promo image also gives vibes of her Lady Gaga-esque Bionic album cover from 2010.
Aguilera mentions Saturday at 10 a.m. PT as the start for general admission tickets, as confirmed by her website, but DeGeneres is offering her viewers access to pre-sale tickets from this Thursday at 10 a.m. to Friday at 10 a.m. PT. The American Express pre-sale begins a day earlier than that on Wednesday at noon PT.
