Bradley Cooper joins Lady Gaga for surprise performance of 'Shallow' in Las Vegas
Fans attending Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas residency show Enigma on Saturday night experienced a jaw-dropping moment.
During the concert, the pop star was joined on stage by A Star Is Born director and costar Bradley Cooper for a haunting rendition of the film’s Oscar-nominated song “Shallow.”
“So a really good friend of mine…I don’t know if you know him but his name is Bradley. He made that movie, um, A Star Is Born,” Gaga told the audience. “So I’m gonna be a little chance-y. Yo Bradley, you wanna come up and do this one with me?”
At that, Cooper left his seat in the crowd to join the star at her piano. Despite a rocky start in which the actor joked about having to adjust his in-ear monitor — “Jackson never used these,” he quipped — the rest of the emotional number went smoothly.
Earlier this week, the drama received seven Academy Award nominations, including nods for Gaga and Cooper’s performances and the coveted Best Picture honor.
