James Bay has lopped off his locks and made a new album — and it (the album, not the chopped hair) goes on pre-sale today.

The English singer announced on Wednesday that his new record Electric Light is due out Friday, May 18, 2018, via Republic Records, but can be ordered now. The album, which features lead single “Wild Love,” is the second from the singer-songwriter following his debut Chaos And The Calm in 2015.

“If I had to describe my first album visually it would probably be a flame — while this new album is about a real sonic and artistic evolution for me,” said Bay in a statement. “The feeling of a 100 watt bulb expanding and brightening is what I envisioned. Electric Light came to my mind and I knew it was perfect.”

The “Let It Go” singer also announced the expansion of his North American and European tour, adding nearly 30 new dates. The run will take Bay across North America and Europe making stops at New York’s Beacon Theater on September 18 and Los Angeles’ The Greek Theater on October 7.

Bay’s new single “Pink Lemonade” is also released Wednesday ahead of his Saturday Night Live debut performance on Saturday, March 10, where This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown will be hosting. Take a listen to the new track here.
