Pink scales side of building in high-flying AMAs performance — and Twitter's jaws drop
Katy Perry, Ellen DeGeneres, and more stars have a lot of feelings about this video
Pink took her well-established spectacle to new heights Sunday night when she brought the title track of her 2017 LP, Beautiful Trauma, to the side of the local JW Marriott in downtown Los Angeles during the American Music Awards. Flanked by a handful of aerial dancers and securely fashioned, the singer performed a dazzling array of acrobatics.
Guests inside the hotel were seen waving out their windows and the internet had a field day. “How some people are OK lip-syncing at the same event where P!nk is literally scaling buildings without missing a note is beyond me. #AMAs,” wrote one Twitter user.
Katy Perry was also impressed, tweeting, “HOLY S— @PINK’S @AMA PERFORMANCE IS THE STUFF OF LEGEND.”
Ellen DeGeneres joined the chorus. “Just when you think you’ve seen it all, @Pink outdoes herself,” she wrote on Twitter. “Wow.”
