It’s been years since Miley Cyrus performed “The Climb,” the song made famous by 2009’s Hannah Montana: The Movie, but she brought it back for an intimate Instagram Live video stream for the fans.

Cyrus was in the mood to sing, as she noted that her 2013 hit “Wrecking Ball” came in at the top of the charts four years ago on Thursday, the date of the video stream. The singer, who released her new album Younger Now on Friday, also sang “I Would Die For You” and “Wrecking Ball” without accompaniment.

“Had the best listening party I could everrrrr ask for,” Cryus wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for sharing a very special night with me! Can’t wait to see y’all @ my album release tomorrow in Nashville! Looooove you w all my [heart]!”

Cyrus performed “The Climb” on stage at CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute in 2011. Watch her perform it again in the second video of her Instagram post below.

Many fans tuning in were overwhelmed by the surprise throwback. See some of the responses below.
