Monday is a national holiday — and also Labor Day.

Beyoncé Knowles turned 36 on Monday and received countless good wishes online for her birthday, including from fellow music superstar Adele, Tony-winning Dear Evan Hansen actor Ben Platt, and comedian and host Ellen DeGeneres (who used Beyoncé’s birthday to promote her television return this week).

Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles also passed along birthday wishes.

On Sunday, Beyoncé’s husband, JAY-Z, started the singer’s birthday off by leading the Made In America crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Beyoncé herself, meanwhile, participated in the celebration of her date of birth, hosting a photo shoot on her website that featured Michelle Obama and Serena Williams, among others, dressed like Beyoncé from the “Formation” video.
