'Look What You Made Me Do' made social media users do things too

The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now, so she’s missing a stream of tweets about “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Taylor Swift released her new song late Thursday night and sparked an immediate surge of split responses on Twitter, with some on social media mocking the track and others expressing their excitement via all-caps tweets.

“Look What You Made Me Do” is Swift’s first single off her forthcoming album, Reputation, due out Nov. 10.

“I don’t like your little games/ Like your tilted stage,” Swift sings on the track, which is co-written by Jack Antonoff. “The role you make me play, the fool/ No, I don’t like you.” Later, she threatens, “Maybe I got mine, but you’ll all get yours.”
