On Monday, Kanye West traded in “Love Lockdown” for defensive lockdown.

The rapper was all smiles as he celebrated the holiday weekend with some pick-up basketball games at UCLA with 2 Chainz and the school’s men’s team.

2 Chainz shared a picture of the “Birthday Song” duo posing with the coaches and team, who finished last season ranked No. 9 in the country.

West has recently been in the news not for his own music, but for a song from his mentor, JAY-Z. On the track “Kill Jay Z,” Jay called out West for his infamous rant at a November concert.

“I know people backstab you, I feel bad too,” he rapped on the first track of his new album 4:44. “But this ‘f— everybody’ attitude ain’t natural/ But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe/ But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/ You gave him 20 million without blinkin’/ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f— was he thinkin’?/ ‘F— wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”
