Hear Lea Michele's romantic new ballad, 'Run to You'
Lea Michele is back with new music, and "Run to You," a track off the upcoming Places, is premiering exclusively here.
The song, a haunting piano ballad, features Michele singing lyrics like, "Let's let go of our broken hearts / ‘Cause you'll be safe in these arms of mine / Just call my name on the edge of the night."
"When I love someone, I really love them," Michele, who calls "Run to You" her favorite song off the new album, tells EW. "And this song is about that kind of love where you will just do anything for that person. You will run to the other side of the globe for them. You might think this song is about someone taking care of you, but it's really about you promising to take care of someone, and if you let me love you, I will take care of you and you will be safe with me." <iframe width="480" height="300" src="http://cache.vevo.com/assets/html/embed.html?video=USSM21700367&partnerId=346c2586-d3f8-4b75-ba0d-398fdb6e4c08" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="" scrolling="no" resize="0" replace_attributes="1" name=""></iframe>oÎ9Ýž}¯GüowÞ÷—4ïoïÎÓ¾7y½·
Aside from her music career, Michele is also known for starring on Glee and Scream Queens. She's next set to appear in an episode of Hulu sci-fi anthology series Dimension 404, and recently joined the cast of Daveed Diggs' upcoming ABC comedy pilot.
Places is the followup to 2014's Louder, Michele's debut album. Hear "Run to You" above.
