Musical performances are such a part of public transportation that, as violinist Joshua Bell once learned, most people can't even tell the difference between a busker and a world-class musician. But there's no mistaking a John Legend performance.

Shortly after stepping off the Eurostar train from Paris to London on Wednesday morning, Legend commandeered a public piano at St. Pancras International railway station. He then played a medley of his hits like "Ordinary People" and "All of Me," to much acclaim from the gathered crowd.

Legend recently released his fifth album, Darkness and Light, and will be appearing as Frederick Douglass on this season of Underground.

Several bystanders managed to take video of the performance.
