Two days after premiering a new song on a season 6 episode of HBO’s Girls, Robyn is back with yet another fresh tune.

The Swedish pop star is featured on the somber ballad “That Could Have Been Me,” lifted from rocker Todd Rundgren’s forthcoming solo album White Knight.

“I thought I was your super girl, but you had something else in mind,” the 38-year old gently croons over moody synths and cold drum taps. “You promised a place in your world for me, but it’s so cold and undefined.”

Robyn appears on the album — Rundgren’s first solo effort since 2015’s Runddans — alongside fellow artists like Daryl Hall, Dâm-Funk, Donald Fagen, and Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, who won the 2011 Best Original Score Oscar for their work on David Fincher’s The Social Network.

Though she hasn’t released a proper studio album since 2010’s Body Talk, Robyn debuted the previously unreleased track “Honey” on Sunday night’s installment of Girls: The emotional electropop ditty cued the episode’s closing credits.

Hear “That Could Have Been Me” now on Pitchfork. Rundgren’s White Knight is available beginning May 12.
