New Kids on the Block weren’t the first major boy band to take a break from making music, and they certainly won’t be the last — still, the quintet’s members nodded to their lengthy 1994-2008 hiatus in the just-released visual for “One More Night,” their first pop single in nearly four years.

The music video for the track — the first from the group’s upcoming EP Thankful — sees Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood, and Donnie Wahlberg singing the mid-tempo tune’s verses in separate locales, joining forces on a grand stage toward the end of the clip to perform the final chorus together as a crowd of cheering fans looks on.

Thankful is set to be released May 12. The EP includes four tracks in addition to “One More Night”: “Heartbeat,” “Thankful,” “Hard (Not Lovin U),” and “Still Sounds Good.” The group is set to embark on their Total Package Tour the same night, which visits 45 North American cities (with support from Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men) through July.
