New Lorde music is getting closer. On Monday, the pop star (whose real name Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor) released a short video teaser of her riding in the back of a car, along with the dates “3.2.17 NYC” and “3.3.17 NZ,” teasing she would release new music on those dates. She followed up this tease on Wednesday by releasing the official name of her new single: “Green Light.”

“I am so proud of this song,” Lorde tweeted. “It’s very different, and kinda unexpected. It’s complex and funny and sad and joyous and it’ll make you DANCE.”

Lorde added that the song would be debuting alongside its new music video directed by Grant Singer. Considering the last time we saw Lorde in a music video, she was tying up a cheating boyfriend, throwing him into a pool, and then lighting that pool on fire, it seems fair to have high expectations.

Lorde hasn’t released an album since 2013’s acclaimed Pure Heroine, but in November she released a long Facebook note updating fans on the status of her new music. At the time, she wrote, “Writing Pure Heroine was my way of enshrining our teenage glory, putting it up in lights forever so that part of me never dies, and this record — well, this one is about what comes next.”

Following up on that, Lorde tweeted Wednesday that “Green Light” is “the first chapter of a story I’m gonna tell you, the story of the last two wild, fluorescent years of my life. This is where we begin.”
