On Sunday, one of the biggest events of the year will take place… and the Super Bowl.

Lady Gaga is set to take the stage for the most-viewed concert of the year as she plays halftime of the big game. While the players for the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons are pumped to face-off each against each other, at Monday’s media night, many of them also shared their excitement about the Grammy-winner performing.

“Unfortunately I won’t be able to enjoy that halftime show, but maybe the wife will set the DVR and I can catch it on the back end,” admitted six-time Pro Bowler and Patriots captain Matthew Slater. Meanwhile, his coach Bill Belichick responded with only a smirk and chuckle when asked about Gaga, which, as football fans know, is about as animated as he gets.

On the other side of the field, despite being underdogs, one Falcons player wanted to invite the singer to the team’s victory party. “I hope she does as well as we’re going to do,” said D.J. Tialavea. “And I hope she comes and celebrates with us after we win the Super Bowl. If you guys can pass that on to her. I’d love to meet her.”
