Hello, Grammy voters! It’s EW. With the 59th annual awards show airing Feb. 12, our crack team of experts are telling you who we think should take home some hardware on music’s biggest night.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR
Adele, 25
Beyoncé, Lemonade
Justin Bieber, Purpose
Drake, Views
Sturgill Simpson, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth

WHO WILL WIN: Adele. The biggest-selling album of 2015 is the sort of classic-sounding (and safe) pop album Grammy voters rally behind.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Beyoncé. Reggae, rock, country, R&B: Every genre is putty in Queen Bey’s hands on Lemonade. And her statements about the black female experience in America were vital this year.

BEST NEW ARTIST
Kelsea Ballerini
The Chainsmokers
Chance the Rapper
Maren Morris
Anderson .Paak

WHO WILL WIN: The Chainsmokers’ chart dominance in 2016 assures a victory here.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Chance the Rapper. His mixtape Coloring Book offered healing hip-hop for twisted times.

SONG OF THE YEAR
Adele, “Hello”
Beyoncé, “Formation”
Justin Bieber, “Love Yourself”
Lukas Graham, “7 Years”
Mike Posner, “I Took a Pill in Ibiza”

WHO WILL WIN: Adele. This category honors songwriting, and her work with collaborator Greg Kurstin is impeccable.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Adele. “Hello” is so instantly iconic that, for a moment, it literally changed the way we greeted people.

RECORD OF THE YEAR
Adele, “Hello”
Beyoncé, “Formation”
Lukas Graham, “7 Years”
Rihanna feat. Drake, “Work”
Twenty One Pilots, “Stressed Out”

WHO WILL WIN: Adele. Just refer back to Amy Winehouse in 2008, Adele in 2012, and Sam Smith in 2015: Grammy voters have historically let British soul-pop crooners sweep this and the Song of the Year category.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Beyoncé. In a field that’s meant to honor performance and production, nothing tops the swag of “Formation.”

BEST RAP ALBUM
Chance the Rapper, Coloring Book
De La Soul, And the Anonymous Nobody
DJ Khaled, Major Key
Drake, Views
Schoolboy Q, Blank Face LP
Kanye West, The Life of Pablo

WHO WILL WIN: Drake. Views was the biggest-selling record of 2016, and that’s enough for Grammy voters, who have shown themselves to have little hip-hop cred. (Who can forget Macklemore and Ryan Lewis besting Kendrick Lamar in 2016?)
WHO SHOULD WIN: Chance the Rapper. He’s only 23, but he can stand tall against pillars like Kanye West and De La Soul.

BEST ALTERNATIVE MUSIC ALBUM
Bon Iver, 22, A Million
David Bowie, Blackstar
PJ Harvey, The Hope Six Demolition Project
Iggy Pop, Post Pop Depression
Radiohead, A Moon Shaped Pool

WHO WILL WIN: David Bowie. Voters can redeem themselves for awarding the late icon one competitive Grammy during his lifetime…for Best Video, Short Form (LOL!) in 1985.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Bowie. And while we’re at it: Omitting him from the Album of the Year category in favor of Justin Bieber is a straight-up embarrassment.

BEST ROCK ALBUM
Blink-182, California
Cage the Elephant, Tell Me I’m Pretty
Gojira, Magma
Panic! At the Disco, Death of a Bachelor
Weezer, Weezer

WHO WILL WIN: Cage the Elephant. Their album was produced by the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, a favorite among Grammy voters.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Weezer’s White Album marked a return to form for the ’90s alt-rock veterans. And shockingly, they’ve never won a Grammy for their music—only for a video (2008’s “Pork and Beans”).

BEST COUNTRY ALBUM
Brandy Clark, Big Day in a Small Town
Loretta Lynn, Full Circle
Maren Morris, Hero
Sturgill Simpson, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth
Keith Urban, Ripcord

WHO WILL WIN: Sturgill Simpson. It’s the only album in this category to get an Album of the Year nom. And where that will surely go to Adele, voters will give him his due here.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Simpson. His critically hailed Sailor’s Guide defied Nashville conventions in fresh ways.

BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM
Adele, 25
Justin Bieber, Purpose
Ariana Grande, Dangerous Woman
Demi Lovato, Confident
Sia, This Is Acting

WHO WILL WIN: Adele. If a category has the word vocal in it, you might as well just hand it to her.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Adele. But honorable mention goes to Sia; her raspy howl is pretty phenomenal too.

BEST DANCE/ELECTRONIC ALBUM
Flume, Skin
Jean-Michel Jarre, Electronica 1: The Time Machine
Tycho, Epoch
Underworld, Barbara Barbara, We Face a Shining Future
Louie Vega, Louie Vega Starring…XXVIII

WHO WILL WIN: Flume. His single “Never Be Like You” was an EDM juggernaut in 2016.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Underworld are pioneers of ’90s electronic music and have never been nominated. Plus, their ninth album offered a thrilling journey, best heard through headphones.

BEST URBAN/CONTEMPORARY ALBUM
Beyoncé, Lemonade
Gallant, Ology
KING, We Are King
Anderson .Paak, Malibu
Rihanna, ANTI

WHO WILL WIN: Beyoncé. Grammy voters who are denying her an Album of the Year victory will consider this her consolation prize.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Beyoncé. But it’s a shame she’s going head-to-head with Rihanna, whose ANTI was a creative breakthrough that proved she was more than a singles artist.

PRODUCER OF THE YEAR, NON-CLASSICAL
Benny Blanco
Greg Kurstin
Max Martin
Nineteen85
Ricky Reed

WHO WILL WIN: Greg Kurstin. He didn’t just work on Adele’s 25; he’s recently been a genre-agnostic songsmith for everyone from Tegan and Sara to Sia to Ellie Goulding.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Kurstin. Max Martin is tough competition, sure, but he was a victor in this category two years ago.

BEST MUSIC VIDEO
Beyoncé, “Formation”
Leon Bridges, “River”
Coldplay, “Up & Up”
Jamie xx, “Gosh”
OK Go, “Upside Down & Inside Out”

WHO WILL WIN: Beyoncé. But don’t discount OK Go, who have mastered the art of the viral music video.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Beyoncé. Director Melina Matsoukas’ clip is an endlessly watchable tour de force.

BEST MUSIC FILM
Steve Aoki, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead
The Beatles, Eight Days a Week: The Touring Years
Beyoncé, Lemonade
Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, The Music of Strangers
Various Artists, American Saturday Night: Live From the Grand Ole Opry

WHO WILL WIN: Beyoncé. The release of Lemonade was the defining pop culture moment of 2016.
WHO SHOULD WIN: Yo-Yo Ma. Just kidding: Beyoncé, duh.
